Russel Lerch is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Nazareth, PA. He studied commercial art at Kutztown University and at Bushkill Creek Studio.
Working primarily in ink or acrylic on canvas for paintings, he creates graphic art that attracts a viewer to look closely at the details to realize the concept behind the piece. Russel’s art touches on the real and surreal, always looking to make an impact psychologically. His sculptures and mobiles are fantasy and sci-fi using optical physical illusion.
Russel’s lifelong passion for art and science has allowed him to see things from unique perspectives. Like tectonic theory or hi-speed photography, we can understand things in new and fascinating ways by changing our point of view. He enjoys bringing people to a point of discovery and illumination that he has also experienced by looking at things unconventionally.
Russel is a member of the Arts Community of Easton (ACE). He has exhibited at Galleria126, Invisible Arts Society, Sigal Museum, and the LVHN Gallery. Contact Russel to purchase artwork, for events, or to request commissions.
